It can be used effective for taking polish off and also can be used on taking off high spots on ceramic coating. so once you apply ceramic coating, you wait for the ceramic coating to dry. You can then wipe off the ceramic excessive ceramic coating with this cloth .
one word of caution,I would recommend is when you use this for ceramic, loss of some ceramic coatings, or any of these microfiber cloths for ceramic coatings. You will need to discard or throw away this cloth because once it dries, it becomes hard and if you use the cloth again, you could scratch the surface. So be mindful.
